I always love showcasing a fave author. Such is the case today with Lucy Felthouse, and her story, A Taste of London.
Writing a Series by Lucy
Felthouse
I started out in erotica by penning short stories. To begin
with, they were very, very short. Reaching 2,000 words was a real achievement.
My tales gradually became longer and longer, and then I finally made the step
into writing novellas when one was commissioned. I said yes because the
opportunity was too good to pass up, then I panicked about it. Whether I could
do it, whether there was a storyline in my head complex enough for me to write
20,000 – 25,000 words about it. I did it, though. I proved to myself I could
write longer stuff. I've even written a novel, now.
But then, I still didn’t think I would ever write a series.
But, quite by mistake, I have one on my hands. It's the story of Ryan
Stonebridge and the sexy adventures he has on his gap year. The action begins
in London, before he travels on to Paris, and then Rome. After Rome, who knows?
I haven't written the Paris or Rome tales yet, but I definitely will, as soon
as I possibly can.
Why? Because the London tale is out now. Yes, A Taste of
London is now available from Ellora's Cave. It's classed as a short
story at around 12,000 words, but of course with each new instalment of the
story, each book in the series, I'm creeping towards novel length.
Maybe in the future I'll even write a series of novel length
works. Seems like the next logical step, doesn't it? Trilogies are so hot right
now....
Thanks so much to Kacey for having me – you're awesome!

Ryan
Stonebridge and his friend Kristian Hurst are heading off on the trip of a
lifetime. They’re spending their gap year traveling the world and expect lots
of sun, sights and sex. The guys have a couple of days in the English capital
before catching the Eurostar to Paris. Unfortunately, a family emergency means
that Kristian has to head back home for a while, leaving Ryan to continue the
trip alone.
Luckily
for Ryan, he’s an attractive guy and there is no shortage of gorgeous women
available to help take his mind off Kristian’s family drama.
